Medical students have access to private IUSM-Evansville community room and lunch center. Students have full access to our host campus, University of Southern Indiana, facilities including, Rice Library, RFW Fitness Center, University Center and student prices to all Division II athletic events.

While laptops are not required for medical students, their portability is encouraged. View the IUSM Information Technology (UITS) Computer Recommenations.
Students will need software for personal computers; however IU students are eligible for free downloads of many software packages including those offered by Symantec and Microsoft. See the IU Student Software Download site for a complete list of free programs.
The University of Southern Indiana does not make campus housing available for IU medical students. Therefore, off campus housing is the only option. Students typically rent apartments or houses on Evansville's west side (minutes from campus). West side housing generally fills very quickly once USI students return. For the best selection it is advised to reserve housing as quickly as possible.
